A retreat from the founders of SuryaSoul!
Experience SuryaSoul with its founders Sabine & Philippe in the unity and variety of dance, Tao, yoga, mudras, music, meditation and community in a unique place of nature in the forest of Nuenen.
Throughout the weekend we will explore different forms of movement and creative expression:
Dance of Soma, Dance of Spirit, Dance of Yoga, Dance of Tao, Dance of Hands, Dance of Meditation — there is so much to discover!
✨ This weekend is an invitation to recharge, reconnect and celebrate life in community. No previous dance experience is needed – only curiosity and an open heart.
Mellany will host the weekend, creating a safe space where everyone is welcome and guided to enter the Shala with reverence, as is tradition in Indian dance culture.
Practical information
📅 Friday 19.30–21.00 | Saturday 10.00–19.30 | Sunday 10.00–16.00
- We enter the Shala barefoot whenever possible
- Conversations are kept outside the Shala / after dance
- Bring a water bottle and layered clothing
- Please arrive on time and enjoy tea & snacks before entering

Ervaar SuryaSoul met haar oprichters Sabine & Philippe in de eenheid en verscheidenheid van dans, Tao, yoga, mudra’s, muziek, meditatie en community op een unieke plek in de natuur, midden in het bos van Nuenen.
Tijdens het weekend komen verschillende bewegings- en dansvormen aan bod, plus creatieve expressie:
Dance of Soma, Dance of Spirit, Dance of Yoga, Dance of Tao, Dance of Hands, Dance of Meditation — er is zoveel te ontdekken!
✨ Dit weekend is een uitnodiging om op te laden, opnieuw te verbinden en het leven te vieren in community. Ervaring met dans is niet nodig – alleen nieuwsgierigheid en een open hart.
Mellany zorgt als host voor een veilige ruimte, waarbij iedereen welkom is en begeleid wordt om de Shala (de dansruimte) met eerbied te betreden, zoals dat in de traditionele Indiase danstraditie de gewoonte is.
Praktische informatie

- We betreden de Shala bij voorkeur op blote voeten
- Gesprekken bewaren we voor buiten de Shala/na de dans
- Meenemen: flesje water en laagjeskleding
- Kom op tijd en geniet van een kopje thee met lekkers
In de Shala: ontdek in stilte, trek een kaartje of begin rustig in te dansen met de muziek
