Ashra's Dansstijl is voornamelijk Egyptisch maar in haar les maakt ze uitstapjes naar andere Oriëntaalse stijlen zoals de Turkse, Balkan en Zigeunerstijl. Ashra’s dansen en lessen zijn geïnspireerd door haar vele reizen, waarbij ze altijd op zoek is naar authenticiteit en tradities binnen de Oriëntaalse dans. Haar andere Inspiratiebronnen zijn Moeder Aarde, De kracht in de vrouw, sensualiteit en de vrouwen aan wie ze lesgeeft. In de les vinden de vrouwen ruimte om elkaar te ontmoeten via beweging in een veilige omgeving. Hierdoor kan een vrouw zich empowered gaan voelen en ondersteund in al haar kwaliteiten en kracht. Door Ashra's achtergrond in Natuurgeneeswijzen en verdieping in lichaamswerk kijkt ze op een holistische manier naar beweging en het lichaam.
