Je lichaam weet het al.

Dinsdag 1 december dansen we in het schemergebied tussen heks, magiër en sjamaan.
Geen netjes spiritueel gedoe, maar rauw en ongetemd.

Niet bang voor het donker:
door het donker vind je het licht.

Heksen, magiërs en sjamanen werden eeuwenlang vervolgd juist omdat ze dit kenden: de kracht van emotie, van intuïtie, van collectief voelen, van het onzichtbare vormgeven. Dat terrein is nog steeds half verboden — ook in de wetenschap. Vanavond claimen we het terug.

Als introductie gebruiken we de eerste drie fases van de AUM meditatie, begeleid door Frank Kouws. In fase 1 voelen en uiten we onze irritatie, frustratie en boosheid — ook wat heksen en wizards eeuwenlang is aangedaan, mag hier mee naar buiten. In fase 2 komen we tot rust in vergeving. In fase 3 voelen we de openheid van het hart weer terug. AUM geeft healing — een opgeruimde energie en kracht om mee te toveren in de dans.

Daarna neemt DJ Wencke het over achter de knoppen: donkerder, ruiger — met ruimte voor zachtheid waar het zacht mag zijn. Het licht kan niet zonder het donker.

Schoenen uit. Telefoons weg. Harten open — ook de scherpe kantjes mogen er zijn.

Your body already knows.

Tuesday December 1 we dance in the twilight between witch, wizard and shaman.
Not spiritually tidy — but raw and untamed.

Not afraid of the dark:
it's through the dark that you find the light.

Witches, wizards and shamans were persecuted for centuries precisely because they knew this: the power of emotion, of intuition, of collective feeling, of shaping the unseen. That ground is still half-forbidden — even in science. Tonight we claim it back.

As an introduction we use the first three phases of the AUM meditation, guided by Frank Kouws. In phase 1 we feel and release our irritation, frustration and anger — including what was done to witches and wizards for centuries, which is welcome to come out here too. In phase 2 we settle into forgiveness. In phase 3 we feel the openness of the heart return. AUM brings healing — a cleared energy and strength to carry into the dance.

Then DJ Wencke takes over behind the decks: darker, rawer — with room for softness where it wants to be. The light can't exist without the dark.

Shoes off. Phones away. Hearts open — the sharp edges are welcome too.
