About this event
**English-speaking session**
“In the rustling of the leaves and the touch of the wind, you’ll find a moment of pure presence. Forest bathing – or Shinrin-yoku – invites you to slow down, feel, and come home to yourself and to nature.”
What is forest bathing?
Forest bathing is a slow, meditative way of sensing the world. Just like you immerse yourself in sunlight when sunbathing, here you immerse yourself in the forest. During a session, I guide you with gentle invitations that open all of your senses. There’s nothing you need to achieve – you may simply be. Nature does the rest.
Why forest bathing?
Forest bathing originated in Japan and is a scientifically proven method to connect with nature in a restorative way. Research shows that it calms the nervous system, lowers blood pressure, and strengthens the immune system. Forest bathing isn’t only about forests — it’s about deepening your connection with the natural world. It invites you to slow down, feel, and open your senses to the environment around you. The dunes are a beautiful place for this experience.
Good to know
There are small stools available for sitting throughout the session. At the end, we take a moment with forest tea and something delicious, allowing you to gently return from the experience.
