The Field trains facilitators in embodied group work and relational intelligence where intimacy, emergence, and somatic awareness meet.
The Field is a transformational training ground for group facilitators, space holders, and embodied leaders who are committed to trauma-informed, relational, and emergent ways of working with groups. Founded and led by Rachel Rickards, The Field integrates somatic intelligence, nervous system awareness, and collective field dynamics to help facilitators create spaces where deep healing, truth-telling, and transformation can occur.
The organization offers a range of events and programs, including:
A year-long in-person facilitator training, held at retreat centers across Europe and the U.S.
A six-month online trauma-informed certification program, in collaboration with Catherine Hale’s Culture of Care.
The Field Festival, an immersive gathering exploring the edges of group coherence, relational depth, and emergent intelligence.
‘Workshop Your Workshop’ labs, where facilitators offer their work and receive live feedback, mentorship, and refinement.
Rachel’s work with The Field is deeply informed by her co-founding of Embodied Intimacy, a body of work rooted in authentic relating, consent, attachment theory, and somatic trauma healing. Through this lineage, The Field becomes a meeting place where intimacy work and facilitation training converge—where embodied relationality is not just taught, but lived in practice.
