De Sufi Way, de 'wijze van de soefi', is een hedendaagse uitdrukkingsvorm van een eeuwenoude spiritueel pad. In de loop van de eeuwen werd dit pad soms wijd uitgedragen als onderdeel van een bepaalde religie, dan weer raakte het ’ondergronds’ en was alleen nog bekend aan ingewijden.
Soefisme is geen godsdienst. Het is zelfs niet een duidelijk omschreven geloof. De kern van de 'wijze van de soefi' is de innerlijke school, een leerschool die gericht is op het eigen spiritueel ontwaken en op dienstbaarheid aan anderen.
Van nature is het soefrisme wat men nu 'non-duaal' noemt: "I've seen the two worlds as one" schreef de 13e eeuwse dichter Rumi.
