Winter Solstice Celebration: A Journey to the Underworld (and back)

A Time outside of Time, a transformative One-Day Retreat on the Winter Solstice, where we'll gather on the longest night of the year to honor the Darkness through ancient practices that reconnect us to our depths, the natural world, and the powerful threshold spaces that emerge when light surrenders to darkness.

This immersive retreat invites you to step away from the brightness and speed of ordinary consciousness and cross the threshold into the fertile darkness—a space of deep listening, ancestral wisdom, and communion with the mysteries that lie dormant within the earth and ourselves.

Throughout the day, you'll experience:

Ritual Practices and Nature Immersion – Connect deeply with the living world around you through guided sensory experiences that awaken your primal relationship with the Earth and your Body. States of wide-eyed porosity—opening ourselves to receive the wisdom and nourishment that the natural world offers.

Somatic Exploration – Reconnect your animal body through breath, movement, and felt sensation. Guided somatic practices will help you drop from mental chatter, agitation and numbness into the liquid nectar of embodied presence, where healing naturally arises. Experience the pulsing rhythm of life itself flowing through your body.

Threshold Work – The solstice represents a powerful threshold—a time between times. Through carefully guided experiences, we'll explore the liminal spaces where deepest healing occurs, cultivating the courage to cross boundaries between the known and unknown parts of ourselves.

Plant Teacher – We will work with the Golden Teacher mushroom. This relationship opens doorways to expanded awareness and deep healing, connecting us to the intelligence that flows through all living beings.

Program:
9.00 - 10.00 am: arrival, tea, getting all set and cozy
10.00 - 11.00 am: welcome, potion, settling and creating the space
11.00 - 2 pm: Plant medicine ceremony (Golden Teacher mushroom)
2 pm - 3 pm: lunch break, being outside
3 pm - 5 pm: integration practice and sharing (if the weather will allow, outside by the fire)
5 pm - 6 pm: closing
