Gender Unbound

About this event

So often, gender is reduced to pronouns and language. Use these words, communicate in this way, never misgender someone!! But are pronouns gender? What is gender? What are we trying to convey when using that language? And how can we be at peace with ourselves when there's always another person to educate on pronoun use?

In this embodied workshop, let's peel back the layers of societal expectations that have clouded our connection to our authentic selves. Let's tune into what gender means for ourselves - and not the performance of gender for others.

Led by two passionate facilitators who believe in the transformative potential of spaces built for self-reflection, we will embark on a journey of self-discovery and community-building, exploring ways to connect to yourself on a deeper level and supporting each other on our journey. Through a series of guided exercises and open discussions, we'll share our stories, vulnerabilities, and desires, creating a space for authentic connections to thrive.

This workshop is for anyone* who yearns for more meaningful connections to yourself and your gender and seeks to challenge the status quo. We welcome all genders on this journey.

We recommend you eat a nice meal before coming! We will have many breaks throughout the day and a longer, one-hour break for dinner. Please bring some (preferably vegan) food to share with everyone potluck style :)

Ticket Prices:

If you can afford it, please buy a €75 ticket. If you can't, please buy a low income ticket. We will not ask you any questions and trust you to stay within your means.
