Vorig jaar op 11-11, kwamen we met velen samen in het hartje van Gent, om te zingen voor VREDE.
En het was werkelijk prachtig en krachtig!
Voor deze tweede editie organiseren we een meer intieme bijeenkomst met dezelfde focus.
Het stilstaan bij onze huidige wereldwijde situatie.
Vrede ervaren door middel van zang en samenhorigheid.
Om onze intenties/gebeden te laten verheffen door middel van zang en aandacht.
We kozen voor de kunstvormen van muziek, zang en gesproken woord, niet alleen om onszelf uit te drukken, maar ook om harmonie te bevorderen door middel van geluid en gedeelde intenties.
Door de geschiedenis heen heeft zang mensen verbonden met iets groters. En wij geloven dat evenementen zoals deze wel degelijk een verschil maken.
DE LOCATIE
Welkom op de mooie plek van Manipura te Aalst.
Bij inschrijving ontvang je de locatiedetails.
PRACTISCH:
Liefdevolle bijdrage vanaf 15 euro (voor oa de huur van de plek)
14u30: deuren openen
15u00: we starten stipt met zingen
18u00: einde van het zangmoment
18:00: overgang naar potluck (zo is er nog wat ruimte is om gezellig na te praten)
19:00: we ruimen op
20u00: Manipura sluit

Last year on 11-11 many people united
in the heart of the city centre of Ghent to sing for
peace. and it was absolutely beautiful and powerful!
For this second edition we
will do a more intimate gathering with the same focus.
To raise awareness about our current global situation
To experience peace through song & togetherness
To elevate our prayers through song & attention.
We chose the art forms of music, singing,
and spoken words. Not only to express ourselves,
but to elevate harmony through sound & shared Intentions,
Throughout history, singing has connected people to something greater. And we believe events like these
does make a difference.

Welcome to the beautiful space of Manipura in Aalst!

PRACTICAL INFORMATION
Loving contribution starting at €15 (to help cover, among other things, the venue rental).
2:30 PM: Doors open
3:00 PM: We start singing
6:00 PM: End of the singing session
6:00 PM: Transition to the potluck, leaving plenty of time to relax, connect and enjoy a chat together
7:00 PM: Cleaning up
8:00 PM: Manipura closes
