About this event
An experiential journey through taste, silence, gratitude and play.
Amsterdam is not just a city. It’s a living playground for our senses. In hidden "hoffjes", in canal house reflections and arching bridges, the city speaks, when we stop to listen.
During this experiential walking journey, we explore the city through simple yet powerful practices that can turn on the bio-chemistry of happiness through taste, silence, gratitude, contemplation, play, and connection.
This is not a typical city tour.
It is a shared ritual of curiosity and presence.
WHAT THIS EXPERIENCE IS ABOUT
This walk invites you to experience Amsterdam in a deeper way — through mindful micro-practices inspired by positive psychology, contemplative traditions, and sensory awareness.
Instead of rushing from landmark to landmark, we slow down and explore questions like:
• What happens when we truly savour a moment?
• How does silence deepen connection?
• What changes when we actively practice gratitude?
• Can playfulness open the door to joy?
What we will explore together
During the journey we will visit hidden corners of the Jordaan neighborhood and explore five “keys” to happiness.
1 — Savouring
2 — Silence
3 — Gratitude
4 — Contemplation
5 — Play
