This is a Red Play Party and a workshop afternoon blended into one. Thé perfect play party when you feel adventurous and want to meet people to play with, whether you come alone or with others.
Are you looking for a place that is held with integrity, that is inclusive and welcoming, yet where you can play with your sensual and sexy fantasies and desires, some kinky play, cuddles, or just a cup of tea and chocolate?
Don’t look any further. This is the Red Play Party as created by Exploring Deeper, a day of sensual, luscious exploration in an all-embracing environment of like-minded people!
During this Play Party, we invite sensual and erotic interactions. You are not obliged to engage in any naked or sexy interactions, but you should feel comfortable with that happening in the space. We invite you to explore your sensuality in creative ways!
This day includes opportunities to:
- take part in a sensual workshop
- practice impeccable consent and play with the B-SMART tool for safer intimacy
- experience your Inner Navigation System and how it tells you what to do
- have an amazing day out, dress up, flirt, dance, cuddle, massage, play - or whatever suits your mood. We are equally friendly towards vanilla, tantric, and kinky folks, the sexy sluts and the shy ones, the introverts and the extravagance.
- get to know amazing like-minded people in the best way! We usually host a very diverse crowd that is of mixed ages, gender, experience levels, and backgrounds.

➤ This event is a wonderful first play party to go to, ánd we recommend at least some experience in sex-positive spaces. It would be best if you were comfortable (though absolutely not obliged to participate in - on the contrary) with nudity and explicit action in the space. Experience with workshops related to tantra, kink, touch, cuddles, etc will do (email/pm Wilrieke if you are not sure whether this is for you now).
➤ Be aware that these spaces zoom in on your ease & challenges. You need to be comfortable with that.
➤ We will send you an email with practical information a few days before the event. Make sure to sign up with your most used email address (when you have unsubscribed from our newsletter, our emails can’t reach you) or that the person who bought your ticket forwards these emails to you.
➤ You have to bring a waterproof sheet or blanket at least the size of a mattress to play. No sheet = no play.
This is an event covering the afternoon ánd evening. During the afternoon, there's a workshop given by Wilrieke Sophia. The evening consists of a free-flow play party where you can design your own sweet, sexy, or other experience, maybe inspired by the wide range of toys and tools we provide (sponsored by the amazing Tailboneshop!).
WHAT THE DAY LOOKS LIKE
The doors open half an hour before the start time. Make sure to be on time! Once we have started, we cannot let latecomers in!
During the opening circle, Wilrieke will welcome you all and explain about practicalities and agreements. We will start with exercises to land, get to know each other, and learn to notice what our desires and boundaries are today (the more often you do these exercises, the better you get at them!). The workshop is explained in more detail below.
After the workshop, there is a dinner break and time to prepare for the evening. The evening starts with dancing and some exercises to smoothly transition to the free-flow part of the evening. Half an hour before the event ends, we gather in a closing circle.

ABOUT THE AFTERNOON WORKSHOP
Playing with Polarities: both BDSM and tantra play with clearly identified polarities. Who is leading - and who is following? Who is doing, and who is being done to?
In this workshop, we play with different flavours of polarities. From gentle holding, towards teasing and maybe even some kinky domination.
Note: if you come with a partner, you are, as always, welcome to stay together. Potential partial nudity during the afternoon, but undies on.
FOR WHO IS THIS?
This event welcomes folks from all walks of life. We are LGBTQIIA+ informed (Wilrieke and most of their team identify as such), slut-friendly, trauma-informed, and non-monogamy informed. White folks are overrepresented in our team and life experiences are colored through that lens. We do come from different social backgrounds and have different life experiences when it comes to health, wealth, neurodiversity, gender, sexual orientation, etc.
We welcome people with specific needs as much as able-bodied folks. Feel free to reach out if you have specific needs that you wish to share with us.
- You are sensually, erotically, and emotionally savvy enough to play nicely with others.
- You share well, take care of toys, and communicate clearly.
- You know your wants and boundaries, or you’re willing to explore them.
- You treat yourself and others with respect and kindness.
- You want to come even if you do not plan to play — you are welcome to simply enjoy the atmosphere with no pressure at all.
- You bring a warm, caring, open-minded, generous, thoughtful, compassionate, non-judgmental attitude and conduct yourself with the highest level of integrity.
- You want to relax, smooch, play, or watch (voyeurism counts as participation!).
All genders, bodies, and orientations are welcome. There are no expectations or requirements — this is a space for expression, celebration, and exploration. You are welcome exactly as you are, right now.
THIS EVENT IS NOT FOR YOU IF:
- You are not willing to accept another person’s “no”
- You have no experience in s-positive spaces or workshops about tantra, kink, BDSM, cuddling, or other forms of intimacy — and you feel uncomfortable around unclothed people or explicit activity in the space (feel free to message Wilrieke if you’re unsure whether this is for you).
- You cannot commit to respecting inclusion: no racism, discrimination, misogyny, ableism, or shaming of bodies, sexualities, genders, etc., will be tolerated.
- You are looking for “easy sex” — you will not find it here.
- You are not okay with our commitment against misinformation and disinformation.
👋 ABOUT WILRIEKE SOPHIA
Wilrieke Sophia (they/them) is a sex & intimacy educator, (TEDx) speaker, advisor & coach for creative makers and scientists, author, and founder of Exploring Deeper and Cuddle Workshops International.
The main focus of their work is empowerment through self-knowledge and understanding, radical self-inclusion, the embodied experiencing of boundaries and desires, and an extensive practice of consent – all based on a foundation of trauma awareness and neuroscience, embedded in experiential spaces based on interpersonal connective practices. They collaborate with artists and scientists, and are a supervisor and mentor.
With their project Red Flags in Workshops, Wilrieke creates free materials on e.g. accountability, abuse, and power dynamics in the intimacy and wellness communities.

SOME PRACTICAL INFORMATION
The week before the event, you will receive an email with detailed information for the day, including the address and what to bring. Make sure you sign up with the email address that you use. Check your spam filter if you did not receive an email five days before the event (if you have unsubscribed from our newsletter, these emails cannot reach you!).

ACCESSIBILITY
This workshop space is called Awananda. The elevators in this building are out of order - the owner won’t fix this to our regret. There are stairs to enter the building. On the ground floor is an all-access bathroom. The workshop is on the first floor. There are two stairs to get there. There are several bathrooms on the first floor (no all-access bathrooms), and a small kitchen with a fridge and a microwave. There are mattresses in the workshop space. There is no shower.
