About this event

(DUTCH VERSION BELOW)

A Day of Magic and Joy!

Have you ever wondered how to bring an object "to life"? In the "The Living Object" workshop, you'll explore how to manipulate an object with three people. Yes, you read that correctly: three people! Inspired by the Japanese puppet theater Bunraku, we'll focus on one aspect: how to manipulate an object with three people in such a way that it creates the suggestion that the object is alive?

Hello, my name is Wensley Pique. In my daily life, I am a human being who does human things. And sometimes, I am a performing artist who brings objects to life to make stories resonate to the deepest fibers of your being. During "The Living Object," I'll take you into a universe of energy/frequency, vibrations, and playful childlike wonder, and I'll teach you the techniques that go with it.

For Who? Anyone who wants to experience this unique experience.

What do you need? Yourself and your creativity.

I'll take you through the small details of puppet theater that have great significance! Come alone (be bold!), with a self-assembled top puppet play trio of housemates (the chaos will be epic!), family (stretch those family ties!), or bring your grandparents and/or grandchildren (because who doesn't want to bring an object to life with a grandparent-grandchild team?).

Three is KEY

I welcome you.

Warm regards,
Wensley Pique

NEDERLANDS

Hallo, mijn naam is Wensley Pique.

Three is KEY

Ik heet U welkom.

Warme groet,
Wensley Piqué
