You may need to cancel the event unexpectedly. You can make your event invisible, notify everyone, and request refunds through your Dashboard.
First, make your event invisible
Go to the dashboard and follow the steps
- Navigate to the event you want to make invisible.
- Click on the 'Settings' tab.
- There, turn on the switch next to 'Event is invisible (draft mode)'. This will make your event invisible and no tickets can be purchased.
Then notify everyone via email
Go to the dashboard and follow the steps
- Navigate to the event.
- Click on the 'Participants' tab.
- Click on 'Email Participants'.
- Then type the email and press 'Send'.
You can also choose to download a CSV file with all email addresses under the 'Participants' tab and then notify the participants of the cancellation via your own email address.
Finally, you can request refunds
Go to the dashboard and follow the steps
- Go to 'Sales'.
- Click on the order you want to refund.
- Then click on the green 'Refund' button at the top right.
- Check all details and choose the amount you want to refund.
- If you have marked everything correctly, click on 'Refund'.
- Repeat this with the other orders.
