What a deeply transformative experience this tantra retreat was. ✨

I danced. I cried. I laughed. I softened.
I healed.
I felt my heart open in ways I didn’t expect. In such a short time, I moved through so many emotions — intensity, tenderness, joy, vulnerability, connection, peace. It was powerful yet soothing at the same time. Deep, raw, gentle and incredibly human.

I left feeling more connected to myself, more present in my body, and with a heart fuller than before. I also met beautiful souls and made new friendships that felt genuine and meaningful.

The care and presence from Leila, Wave and all the helpers made this experience even more special. You could truly feel the love and intention behind everything they created. And the food… absolutely nourishing, vibrant and made with so much care.

This retreat touched my heart deeply and will stay with me for a long time. Grateful beyond words. 🤍

I had been to several tantra workshops but never attended a “tantric temple”. I was thus a bit anxious before going but dared to take the leap and didn’t regret it. With our group of amazing 18 participants , Wave and Leyla created a safe setting and offered mind blowing exercises and teachings (consent, dance, breath, verbal expression, touch, etc) which allowed me to access long hidden “movement impulses”. I think I’ll never forget this weekend. Very grateful for the organisers!

I usually find it easy to describe my experiences, but even days after the retreat, I still struggle to find the right words for Heart Day. Somehow, words don’t quite fit.

What I can say is that it was a truly unique blend of Tantra and Shamanism, grounded in a deep sense of realness and equality. There was no teaching to follow a certain way of being. Rather, it gently invited you to meet yourself, without roles, tools, or expectations, and from there, to become more of who you truly are.

Leila and Wave have a rare ability to tune into both the group and each individual needs. Their presence and guidance felt intuitive and supportive, creating exactly what was needed in each moment.

It was the most real thing I have encountered, which appears to have shifted the course of my life.

As a beginner in the world of tantra, this was my very first weekend experience, and I could not have wished for a better introduction.

Before arriving, I felt quite nervous. But the moment I entered the space and was welcomed by Laila and Dave, I immediately felt the warm and beautiful energy they created. I felt safe right away, which made it so much easier to relax and open myself to the experience.

The weekend began with a temple night. Before the free flow started, we were guided through several practices that helped us connect with our bodies, listen to our feelings, and learn how to express boundaries in a clear and healthy way. I found this incredibly valuable and empowering.

After that, during the free flow, we had the opportunity to bring what we had learned into practice. The atmosphere remained deeply safe and respectful throughout, and the people around me were loving, kind, and conscious.

The following day included many different practices. I moved through deep inner processes and felt that it was truly healing for me. Some parts were profound and emotional, while there was also plenty of space for joy, playfulness, and lightness.

It was a beautifully balanced weekend with depth, connection, healing, and fun. I wholeheartedly recommend booking an event with Wave or Laila if you feel called to explore tantra in a safe, loving, and professionally held space.

Leila and Wave, the facilitators, they carry deep wisdom and took the time to guide us through exercises with depth and care. We explored our inner world—our intuition, boundaries, and heart. We also worked with spiritual elements, connecting with entities and inviting in our ancestors.

There was a strong sense of celebration throughout: celebrating ourselves, showing up authentically, and honoring one another.

The participants themselves brought a great deal of wisdom, and the many sharing moments were meaningful and enriching. It was fascinating to witness others’ processes and the shifts they experienced in less then 48 hours.

Leila and Wave created a space where everyone felt able to fully take their place during the exercises. They were attentive to the group’s energy and concentration, and responsive to what was needed collectively.

They were not afraid to hold up a mirror, doing so with care, respect, and clarity.

Feeling grateful.

After purchasing tickets for this event, I received an email stating that attendance was conditional upon agreeing to certain terms. I was surprised to receive these agreements only after completing the purchase. In my view, it would be far more transparent to communicate such terms beforehand, allowing participants to make a fully informed decision prior to buying a ticket.

One of the statements read: “I will not hold the facilitators, team, or organizers responsible for any problems resulting from the choices I make during the retreat.”

I contacted Wave to express that this clause felt one-sided. While I strongly believe in taking full responsibility for how I show up in the world and for the choices I make, I also believe that responsibility in these contexts is shared. Organizers and facilitators likewise carry responsibility for creating and maintaining a safe environment.

Wave did not respond to my email, which I found unprofessional and disappointing. I am less concerned about the disagreement itself, as I believe it could have been easily resolved through open conversation. But the lack of responsiveness and unwillingness to engage in respectful dialogue (an issue also raised by another reviewer on Hipsy) felt like a significant red flag.

I don’t believe spaces like this must always be comfortable as growth often happens outside one’s comfort zone. However, they should always feel safe. To me, his approach seems inconsistent with the creation of a safe space and at odds with the emphasis on personal responsibility being promoted.

I’m deeply grateful to Wave Davis for organising this event, and to everyone who helped hold the space so beautifully. It felt safe, grounded, deep and genuinely therapeutic 🙏a real milestone in my journey of self-discovery.

What I appreciated most was the length and the format. There was no rush. We were given time to really drop in and viscerally explore some of the most important aspects of human connection, especially connecting to ourselves, feeling our boundaries, and recognising our true desires.

As a first-timer, I honestly felt held and supported with care and gentleness throughout. Even the more wild or edgy exercises were guided in a way that felt safe and transformative.

I’m very thankful for this experience and would warmly recommend it to anyone who feels the call.

Incredible workshop! I learned so many new somatic techniques to move through difficult emotions and got very clear on what my next action steps are. Wonderful facilitation and flow.

This was my first experience with tantra, and I feel grateful for the insights and discoveries I gained. I learned a lot about myself and my sensuality. I am also impressed how the facilitators created a safe space and container where everyone was welcome. Thanks so much, Wave and Leila!

A beautiful space for male vulnerability and strength. Wave facilitated with care and grace. Really appreciated his transparency and flexibility, made me feel even safer in the space! I hope he organizes many more.

I have had a transformative day, in which the space was held remarkably well, thankfully. Denise and Wave facilitate the opportunity to go really deep, so safety is essential and it was warranted.

So grateful for this day. Denise and Wave created a safe and charged container. A perfect balance of knowledge and experience. To get into our bodies, we danced, shaked, learned our somatic yes and no's while eyegazing. While the energy was rising in our bodies, we tapped into the energetic intelligence and played with the sexual energy. First guided, later in a temple space. I felt safe, well guided and I'm still intergrating the experience. Eventhough I was a bit nervous before - going alone -, I'm so happy that I did! Can't wait for more.

This was an amazing event! Build up was very good and it allowed me to get in my body, connect with intuition and feel safe. Wave, Denise and their team were remainding us to stay within our boundaries which made this event very safe. There is emphasize on getting out of the mind and into the body which I really loved. They also thought us great energetic tantric techniques.
I am very grateful to be part of such an amazing event!
