What is Forest Bathing?
Forest bathing, or Shinrin-yoku, is the Japanese practice of immersing yourself in the atmosphere of nature. Just as you soak up the warmth of the sun while sunbathing, here you allow the essence and stillness of the landscape to settle within you. It is a slow, meditative way of experiencing the world around you. During our session, I will guide you with gentle invitations to open your senses and quiet the mind. There is no goal to reach and nothing you need to achieve. You may simply be, exactly as you are. Nature does the rest.
✦ Low pace: Slow walk, not a long hike
✦ No water: Sensory immersion, not a swim
✦ No forest needed: Any natural landscape works - it is a method
✦ Inclusive: No special gear or experience required
Why forest bathing?
Originating in Japan, forest bathing is a scientifically proven method for restorative connection. Research shows that it calms the nervous system, lowers blood pressure, and strengthens the immune system. Beyond the physical benefits, it is about deepening your bond with the natural world. It invites you to slow down, feel, and find a sense of peace within yourself. The dunes are a beautiful place for this experience.

“In the rustling of the leaves and the touch of the wind, you will find a moment of pure presence. Forest bathing invites you to slow down, feel, and come home to yourself.”
