Wandelretraite ~ Entering into silence

About this event

A unique walking retreat in the Moroccan desert, open to anyone with a spiritual outlook on life. This offers you an opportunity to experience how the vast emptiness and silence of the desert connects you with our own inner silence. As we walk into the desert, we are invited to leave behind our attachments, preoccupations and excessive activity, and orient ourselves to Presence.

Amongst other practices, there will be silent and singing meditations, breathing & bodywork, one day of vision quest, zikr, evenings of poetry and story-telling. The practices are partly sufi influenced and the main language will be English, translations into French, Dutch and German will be available.

Facilitators:
This retreat will be facilitated by Karim and Elmer, two senior retreat leaders from the Sufi Way.

Me, Mariëlle, will be the care taker of the breath- and bodywork~ think of prana yoga, qigong, breathing exercises~ that will support you on your inner and outer journey.

The silence will take over when we’re starting walking. That will mean: after breakfast till when we’re back in our next campsite.
