About this event

Out of love for movement, music, community, and regeneration, this festival was born.

Our vision is to create a safe space where we come together to move and to inspire each other through our unique gifts — a space where we can learn and grow together. 🌿

The Movement Festival weaves together many disciplines: Dance, Acrobatics, Flow Arts, Martial Arts, Music, Yoga, Wellness, and more. Here, you’re invited not only to move your body, but also to join the movement towards regeneration — of ourselves, our communities, and of Nature.

It is a place of inspiration, creativity, and connection. A playground where we gather to celebrate the joy of movement and surrender to your own natural flow.

From June 10–14, 2026 we will gather at the magical paradise of Landgoed Ottermeer. ✨

✨ Festival Areas & Themes

During Movement Festival Ottermeer, you are free to move between different thematic areas. Each area carries its own energy and atmosphere, inviting you to follow your personal flow — from expression and challenge to stillness, integration, and connection.

💃 Dance Area

A space for expression, rhythm, and freedom.
Here, dance unfolds as a universal language and cultural force. Explore forms such as ecstatic dance, African dance, capoeira, floorwork, and contact improvisation, moving from feeling, playfulness, and connection.

🤸 Acro & Acrobatics Area

Moving together, building trust, and exploring edges.
This area focuses on AcroYoga and partner acrobatics — a playful interplay of strength, balance, and communication. Yoga, therapeutic flying, and Thai massage come together in practices that are both grounding and expansive.

🔥 Flow Art & Fire Space

Creative play, rhythm, and transformation.
A dynamic space dedicated to flow arts such as poi, hoop, staff, and juggling. During the day, there is room for practice, experimentation, and jams; in the evening, fire performances and shared fire moments bring focus, presence, and expression into a powerful collective experience.

🧘 Mindful Movement Area

Conscious movement from within.
This area invites you into deep connection with the inner body through yoga, qi gong, breathwork, somatic movement, animal flow, and martial arts as embodied practices. The focus is on breath, intention, respect, and awareness — welcoming both beginners and experienced practitioners.

🌿 Wellness Area

Rest, recovery, and integration.
A peaceful space by the water to land and recharge. With massages, sauna, hot tubs, and gentle rest areas, this zone supports the integration of everything that has been set in motion — physically, emotionally, and energetically.

🌱 Regenerative Culture Area

Movement toward a balanced future.
This area is devoted to regenerative ways of living and relating. Discover sessions on permaculture, food forests, and eco-communities, workshops in conscious communication and community-building, spaces for circles, dialogue, and silence, and practical tools for creating sustainable change — starting from within and growing together.

🎶 Music & Jam Space

Listening, playing, and celebrating.
A dedicated space for live music, jamming, and spontaneous creation. Music becomes a connective force, supporting movement, encounter, and shared celebration.

🌞 Daily Flow

Each day at Movement Festival Ottermeer follows a natural rhythm of activation, exploration, integration, and celebration — allowing space for both depth and play.

07:30 – 09:00 | Early Morning Practice
Start the day gently with practices such as breathwork, meditation, or a silent forest walk, tuning into presence and intention.

09:00 – 10:00 | Breakfast
Nourishing food and relaxed connection to begin the day.

10:30 – 13:00 | Morning Workshop Block
Choose your own path:
• Two parallel 1-hour workshops (10:30–11:30 & 12:00–13:00)
or
• One extended deep-dive workshop (10:30–13:00)

13:30 – 14:30 | Lunch
Time to refuel, rest, and connect.

15:00 – 18:00 | Integration & Free Flow
An open afternoon for integration and exploration:
• Massages & bodywork
• Music, flow, and acro jams
• Chill-out DJ sets
• Educational and regenerative culture sessions

18:30 – 19:30 | Dinner
A grounding meal to close the daytime program.

20:30 – 22:30 | Evening Program (Shared Experience)
Evenings bring us together in celebration and expression through:

22:30 – 00:30 | Chill Out & Soft Landing
Wind down in a calm, cozy atmosphere with:
• Ambient listening experiences
• Cuddle space for rest and connection

🌿 Arrival & Closing

Arrival — Wednesday
Participants are welcome to arrive from 12:00 (noon) onwards. Take time to land, set up your space, explore the grounds, and ease into the festival rhythm before the shared opening moments.

Closing — Sunday
The festival gently comes to completion after lunch on Sunday, leaving space for integration, goodbyes, and a soft return to everyday life.

🍽 5-Day Meal Plan — €140

The meal plan runs from Wednesday dinner until Sunday lunch, providing nourishing meals throughout the full festival journey.

All meals are lovingly prepared by Marnix from eetschilderij.nl, using local, organic ingredients. His passion for wholesome, conscious food beautifully supports the movement, wellness, and community experience of the festival.
