About this event
As we are heading into the deep dark of winter,
let's come together and sink into the depths of our hearts.
Winter is a time of going inwards. A time to rest in the darkness.
Warmed by the inner fire of the heart, we sit and watch what is there is to see.
Sitting together, our awareness is strengthened by the collective.
This meditation will be lightly guided by Ludo.

## On meditation
In day to day life many of us are used to constantly react and respond to the world around and within us. When we meditate, we learn to just sit and watch. With soft kind eyes we observe whatever arises within our attention. This can help you to become less identified with your thoughts and feelings, and instead helps you return to your true inner nature, opening space for peace, joy and personal freedom.
## About Ludo
I stumbled upon the path of meditation, some ten years ago, and since then it has become one of the building blocks of my foundation for living and operating in this world. I started with Zen, later discovered Vipassana meditation (Goenka), and after that mindfulness. Currently I mostly just sit with what is, practicing non-doing and cultivating inner kindness. Besides meditation I like to make art, dance or climb, and I am currently studying craniosacral therapy - which is basically "social meditation".
