Summer solstice is approaching and what better way to celebrate the highest point of the sun than come together and dance? We invite you to our humble and cozy gathering place Common Ground for an intimate ecstatic dance.

About DJ Ma'rifa:
On the dancefloor with Ma'rifa, colours and tastes come together in a caleidoscope of sounds with a focus within the SWANA region. He grew up in the Netherlands within a Turkish-Arab family, where he would rather play his self-made mix CD's than his fathers Turkish & Arabic cassette tapes.
Now he grew to embrace his cultural heritage and can find himself in the current culture of traditional global sounds being edited and blended with raw rave, fresh electronica and heavy bass.
He recently started moving towards making ecstatic dance journeys.
